Mapsearch
Find persons by place of birth, of activity, of death or of interment.
Mapsearch enables you to find persons by the places the are connected with.
The symbols on the left hand side of the map indicate the typ of place. Places of birth (blue), places in text (yellow), places of death (violet) and places of burial (green) or all places (red) are independently selectable. By choosing the typ of the place you may draw a rectangle by (1) left-clicking the mousepointer for the first corner, (2) release and move to the second corner and (3) fixing the second corner by left-clicking again. This procedure can be repeated for different types of places.
The selection can be canceled by clicking the trash icon.
